Wow, I should really take some more time to keep my blog updated. This one is long overdue. Its shocking to see I have visitors coming here everyday. Even if its 10 or less, I feel bad for not having anything to say, especially when so much as been going on.
My band (A Lion [...]

Japan

The flight time between Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW) and Osaka, Japan (NRT) is 12 hours, 51 minutes – which is a distance of 6,428 miles or 10,344 nautical kilometers. I think it is safe to say that is the furthest I have ever traveled in my entire life. And I’m trembling at the thought of [...]

ALNR at EarX-Tacy

A Lion Named Road recently played its first show at earX-tacy to support the release of our new album. We were overwhelmed by the turnout, considering half of our band and a short setlist. We donated the proceeds of our record that day straight to earX-tacy in response to the situation they have fallen into. [...]

Four records on repeat.

Here are four records that I have been listening to quite a bit. Typically I don’t stick to listening to one similar genre or style of music – but for some reason these records fit well together. I really enjoy the production of Findlay Brown and his newest single ‘Love Will Find You‘. A friend [...]

So…

I’m laying in bed and updating my blog via a sweet wordpress app. I’m amazed what I can do with such little effort. Becoming lazier than the day before. Not sure if I’m proud of that at all, just minutely impressed with technology at this moment.
Christmas is in full swing at the Anderson homestead…

Ciao!

Day off in NYC and I passed this thing up. Reminded me of a day-off in Madison, WI where a friend of mine performed a face first dive over the handlebars onto pavement. It was coined the ’superman to cranium can-can grind 360 vert flip’. It was executed flawlessly.

A couple weeks back, I got to spend the day with my girlfriend in Nashville. After coffee at Crema and some lunch at Loveless, we took some pictures with one of my favorite photographers, Billy Grubbs. We went to this awesome bridge in east Nashville, that my friend Matt Hoopes brought my attention to on [...]
